Adaptation des méthodes d'intervention aux évolutions des filières

Gestion du risque sanitaire lors de regroupement de troupeaux

En France, l’augmentation de la taille des troupeaux laitiers a été un phénomène continu ces 20 dernières années, essentiellement par regroupement de cheptels existants.

Ces regroupements (en constante augmentation) rassemblent des vaches présentant des statuts sanitaires hétérogènes et se traduisent le plus souvent par une détérioration parfois dramatique de l’état santé des animaux, tant pour les animaux introduits que pour le cheptel d’accueil. Aucune démarche formalisée de gestion du risque lors de regroupement n’est aujourd’hui disponible.

Descriptif du projet

Le projet a pour objectif de produire un guide d’accompagnement, dont possiblement une version pour les GDS et vétérinaires et une version adaptée pour les éleveurs. Ces guides préciseront :

  • les précautions à prendre avant le regroupement,
  • les méthodes d’incorporation des animaux dans leur nouvel environnement,
  • les indicateurs à utiliser et mesures à réaliser dans l’année suivant le regroupement pour assurer un suivi efficace de la santé des animaux du nouveau troupeau regroupé.

Pour ce faire, 2 volets successifs seront mis en œuvre :

  • Volet 1- Etude bibliographique et état des lieux des pratiques
  • Volet 2- Elaboration du guide d’intervention
