IResPig : Immune response in the context of co-infections with respiratory pathogens in pigs

Mieux comprendre l'impact des co-infections virales respiratoires chez le porc

Ce projet vise à mieux comprendre ce qui se passe au niveau moléculaire lors de co-infections virales respiratoires afin de proposer des recommandations pour la gestion sanitaire des élevages porcins, et de mieux combattre ces infections. Plus pratiquement, le projet vise aussi à étudier les interactions entre vaccins vivants atténués...Peut-on parler de synergie, d'antagonisme, d'effets additifs, où deux pathogènes atténués pourraient mener ensemble à une infection grave ?

Pour cela, deux approches expérimentales sont mises en œuvre :

  • la simple ou double infection différée ou pas de cellules épithéliales de la trachée porcine exprimant ou pas le récepteur du virus du syndrome dysgénésique et respiratoire du porc (CD163),
  • la simple ou double infection de macrophages alvéolaires ou de coupes fines de poumon.

Cet appel à projet participe notamment à l'établissement d’un laboratoire d’immuno-virologie à Oniris et à l'acquisition de nouveaux équipements performants (Krumdieck tissue slicer, qPCR).
